Nokian is credited with having developed the first winter tire in 1934 and currently manufactures a range of tires in different categories for various fitments, including passenger cars, SUVs, light trucks, and commercial vans.
The Nokian WR C3 is an all-weather tire designed to deliver drivers strong traction and enhanced durability. In this Nokian WR C3 tire review, we will take a look at some of the features and benefits of the tire, its pros and cons, and SimpleTire’s views on the tire.
Features and Benefits
All-weather tires are essentially a cross between an all-season and a winter tire. Like all-season tires, all-weather tires also deliver year-round traction and performance with additional winter traction offered by winter tires. A relatively new segment of tires, all-weather tires offer great traction and performance in dry, wet, or heavy winter weather conditions.
The Nokian WR C3 is designed for use on commercial vans and light trucks. The tire delivers strong performance and year-round traction for commercial van drivers and features a variety of tire elements, making it a great tire. Let’s take a deeper look at the features and benefits of the tire.
- Optimized performance: Features a unified center grip and an aggressive symmetrical tread pattern with dense sipe mesh for enhanced driving stability and precise handling.
- Improved wet grip: Pocket-type size pumps out water and ensures a stable and consistent grip.
- Performance-oriented design: Sturdy steel belt structure reduces rolling resistance, boosts fuel efficiency, and improves structural durability.
- Comfortable ride: The special clinch rubber compound enhances durability, reduces road noise, and dampens vibrations.
The Nokian WR C3 is available in different tire sizes ranging from 15 to 16 inches and is a great all-weather tire designed to deliver in all aspects and comes with a Three Peak Mountain Snowflake certification that ensures consistent and reliable performance in harsh winter conditions.

Made my ford transit 350 wagon drive with plenty of traction in the snow as well as much better in the rain. Also had to park on extremely wet and muddy grass. It drove out without even spinning the tires! Simple tires delivered prompt with no issues what so ever. Would definitely purchase from them again. No other web site even carried any tires instock for allweather tires for my van.
