I have had the tires on my truck for only around 2K miles, have not used in snow yet. Quiet, good traction, and nice looking tread pattern. Truck feels more stable and handles better.

Accelera Tires offer tires for cars, light trucks, SUVs and 4x4s. However, their performance tire lineup is really what sets them apart. You don't have to choose between tread life, traction, and tire performance because they have struck the ideal balance. Tires are designed specifically with drivers in mind who are concerned about how tire technology might improve their car's performance in mind. In the unlikely event that a problem develops, Accelera tires offer competitive tire warranty coverage.
The Accelera Omikron A/T tire is made to handle any kind of terrain. Block stepped edges, two major grooves with notches, and interlocking and intermediate blocks are some of the important characteristics and are designed for use on jeeps and light trucks. A mileage warranty is an extra benefit as well.
Do these tires offer traction in both on-road and off-road? Are these tires affordable? To find out, let’s take a look at a review of the Accelera Omikron A/T Tire.
Features and Benefits
What are the most popular applications for all-terrain tires? All-terrain tires are a cross between highway (H/T) and mud (M/T) tires, which implies they can be used for regular driving, most weather conditions, and some dirt or mud. Is this also true for the Accelera Omikron A/T? Let's look at its features and benefits:
- All-terrain traction: The tire features a great tread design that allows it to operate effectively both on and off the road. Stepped edges of the tread blocks and the Z-shaped siping design improve off-road performance and all-terrain traction. As a result, the tire can handle any loose, mushy, or uneven road surface. In addition, the particular tread block sequence improves dry, rainy, and winter weather road grip and encourages outstanding performance.
- Reduced risk of hydroplaning: Two major tread grooves and the notched shoulder design work together to reduce hydroplaning resistance.
- Enhanced controllability: Reduced hydroplaning contributes to better handling. The intermediate tread blocks, interlaced center rib, with the two types of siping detail improve the controllability. Tire is stabilized against the driving pressure, resulting in a sharper and more precise steering response and stability even when cornering. Moreover, stepped edges on tread blocks also provide you additional biting edges and better cornering and maneuvering ability.
- Comfortable drive: Two different types of siping details on the Omikron A/T let it stay in close contact with the road surface. By reducing the amount of road vibrations felt inside the automobile, this enhances driving satisfaction.
- Self-cleaning tread design: In addition to keeping a clean footprint, the tread design also ensures a better driving experience by ejecting rocks from in between the tread pieces.
- Longer tread life: Tires are constructed with sturdy materials to increase their tread life.

Here, we'd like to share with you SimpleTire's view on the Accelera Omikron A/T based on a comparison with two other all-terrain tires of the same size: the Maxxis AT-771 Bravo Series and the Ironman All Country A/T. We will compare the three tires using SimpleScore.
With an overall score of 7.9 out of 10, the Accelera Omikron A/T is in good standing. Because of the two grooves and the tire's contact patch, it has great handling (8.2). Traction and longevity both get strong values of 7.8 and 7.7, respectively.
In comparison to the Maxxis AT-771 Bravo Series, the Accelera Omikron A/T has an equal SimpleScore (7.9), offers a longer mileage warranty (50,000 miles), and is less expensive (starting from $106.99 per tire). 14 SimpleTire reviews
This is the first time I have purchased from Simple Tire, and am very pleased with my purchase. The shipping was really fast and the tires I bought have been perfect for the job I do. I drive about 100 miles a day six days a week and I drive on dirt, gravel, and paved roads and the tires have been perfect.
DO NOT BUY THESE TIRES! I bought a Ford F-250 that had a brand new set on them. For the 2nd time within 2 months of owning this pickup, I've had to change them. No nails. Haven't hit anything. Sidewalls have blown out. What a waste.
I put these tires on my Ram 3500 dually. So far I really like them. I only have about 2,000 miles on them so far. Mostly highway miles, but also some wet soft muddy pulling a trailer loaded with 2 side by side. They handle really well on the road. They're not completely quiet, but for a truck tire they don't get much quieter. As far as the mud and trailer I don't think it slipped a tire. Another thing I really like about these tires is the very blocky lettering on the sidewall. When these tires first showed up I was very happy with the look of them.
Garbage. Had two different tire shops try and balance these without luck. At this price and in a big(ish) 285/75/17 I was not expecting perfect but these are awful. At 45+mph they shake and vibrate like crazy. Tire tech took it for a drive and said tires are out of round so badly that balancing won't fix it. Vehicle is new (only 2k miles) so it's not worn out steering components. Took a risk on cheap tires and lost.
We just got back from our vacation and put on some 5,800 miles,Tacoma Wa. to Hephzibah Ga. We spent 3 weeks almost all of it was driving and we couldn't be more happy with my selection of tire, the ride was smooth and very very quite, those 10 plys really did the job. And the handing I'll tell you what the speed limit for the most part was 80mph, so you know everyone's doing 85-90. At first I was a little timid but once I felt the grab, the control the turning abilty, it put both of us at ease, and doing 85-90 was a piece of cake. The soft pliable rubber guarantees superior handling on the flats as well as the curves. The new tires made the trip much, much more pleasant and enjoyable for the both of us. If I was to go on another cross country road trip the only tire I would buy is accelera omikron A/T, from the company that puts customers at the top SimpleTire.
